What data we process
The data you enter in the quote form: service, name, phone and email (required) and, if you wish, town, type of premises, floor area and message. We also record whether you ticked the box to receive news.
When you send the form we also record the date and time, your IP address, the approximate location derived from it (country, region, city and internet provider) and your browser details (type and language). We use them to handle the request and to detect abusive submissions.
If you do not provide the required data, we will not be able to handle your request.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
a) To answer your request and prepare the quote. We use your data to reply to your enquiry, contact you and prepare the quote. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and your consent, given by ticking the privacy policy box (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
b) To send you news by email. Only if you tick the optional box “I would like to receive news from Raquinber by email”, which is separate from the previous one and is not ticked by default. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by writing to info@raquinber.com or using the unsubscribe link in each email. Not ticking it does not affect your quote request.
How long we keep it
a) Request and quote: for as long as needed to handle your request. If no service is contracted, we delete the data at most 1 year after receiving it. If a service is contracted, it is kept for the duration of the contract and for the periods required by law.
b) News by email: until you withdraw your consent.
Who receives your data
We do not sell your data or disclose it to third parties, except where required by law. These providers are involved in running the website, either acting on our behalf or receiving technical data:
- The company that hosts the website and the form data (hosting provider).
- The email provider we use to receive your request and reply to you.
- ipwhois.app: when you send the form, our server looks up your IP address with this service to obtain your approximate location.
- Iconify (api.iconify.design): your browser downloads some of the website icons from this service.
- unpkg.com and OpenStreetMap: on the contact page only, your browser downloads the map of our office from them.
These third-party services receive your IP address when they serve the request. Some of them may be located outside the European Economic Area; in that case, the transfer relies on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To do so, write to info@raquinber.com or to Raquinber, S.L., Carrer Arc, 5, 08960 Sant Just Desvern (Barcelona, Spain), stating the right you wish to exercise and enclosing a copy of your ID card or another identity document.
